Outer Shell Jacket

The Outer Shell Jacket from the MASCOT® SAFE SUPREME series is high-class workwear that protects against adverse weather conditions and ensures comfort and freedom of movement. The clothing has been designed in accordance with the EN ISO 20471 standard, which defines the requirements for the visibility of workwear for employees performing work tasks in high-risk areas.

The jacket is made of fluorescent material enriched with reflective elements, ensuring the user safety wherever visibility is important, such as work carried out near traffic, cranes and other motor vehicles, as well as in the case of work carried out in conditions of reduced visibility, after dusk or at night.

The fluorescent membrane, in addition to the values increasing the visibility of the user, is certified in accordance with the EN 343 standard, which defines the requirements for workwear in terms of water resistance, windproofness, breathability, stretch and tear resistance. The material has waterproof properties, effectively blocking water penetration, while at the same time removing water vapor from the inner layers of the garment. In places particularly exposed to water penetration, such as seams and seams, the manufacturer has used the technology of taped seams. For full thermal comfort, it is recommended to use clothing that transports water vapor to the outside in the inner layers.

The Outer Shell Jacket from the MASCOT® SAFE SUPREME has a number of solutions that increase the functionality and ergonomics of the product. The jacket has a zipper closure, the cover of which is a storm flap fastened with snaps, reducing the risk of water penetrating the inner layers of the garment. There are two zippered pockets under the storm flap. One of the pockets is specially designed for storing a mobile phone. The pocket has a hole for the cable from the hands-free kit and dedicated loops designed to control the position of the cable and keep it in the right position. The second of the pockets located under the storm flap is designed to store a tablet up to seven inches in size. The left sleeve, at shoulder height, has a waterproof pocket for writing instruments such as pens, pencils or markers. The outer pockets located in the lower part of the jacket and on the chest are fastened with a zipper, which minimizes the risk of uncontrolled emptying of their contents and catching on protruding elements of the structure. The jacket has a dedicated key ring, so they are always easily accessible. Under the armpits there are mesh-secured ventilation holes, fastened with a zipper. The solution provides better thermal control, allowing the user to regulate the amount of air entering the surface of the windproof membrane.

The jacket provides protection for the neck and head. The product has a detachable hood with a lining, the cut of which allows it to be worn over a protective helmet. The hood has a drawstring and adjustable stiffeners on both sides, the role of which is to better fit the garment to the shape of the head. Neck protection is ensured by a high outer collar and an inner collar with a welt, which act as a barrier against wind and driving rain. The jacket also provides protection for the lower back. The material at the bottom of the garment can be lengthened by undoing the buttons, giving you extra protection against bad weather. The ergonomic shape of the sleeves ensures great freedom of movement, and the cuffs at the wrists increase the fit of the sleeves and keep the cold outside. In addition, the cuffs have CORDURA® inserts that increase durability and extend the life of the product.

The certification process requires meeting strict criteria - stricter than those specified in the law. All materials included in the product are tested, not only textiles, but also prints, accessories, zippers and filling materials.
