Softshell Jacket

The softshell jacket from the MASCOT® SAFE SUPREME series is a high-class workwear that provides not only protection against adverse weather conditions, but also provides the user with safety in low visibility conditions. The clothing has been designed in accordance with the EN ISO 20471 standard, which defines the requirements for the visibility of workwear for employees performing work tasks in high-risk areas.

The jacket is made of a fluorescent material enriched with reflective elements, ensuring the user's safety wherever visibility is important, such as work carried out near traffic, cranes and other motor vehicles, as well as in the case of work carried out in low visibility conditions, after dusk or at night.

The fluorescent material, in addition to increasing the visibility of the user, has waterproof properties, effectively blocking water penetration, while at the same time removing water vapor from the inner layers of the garment. The material used is also waterproof, which means that the user is not exposed to the consequences of cooling down or chilling. For full thermal comfort, it is recommended to use clothing that transports water vapor to the outside in the inner layers.

The softshell jacket from the MASCOT® SAFE SUPREME series is characterized by numerous solutions increasing the functionality and ergonomics of the product. The jacket has a fastening secured with a zipper, which, in combination with an internal storm flap, minimizes the risk of water penetrating the inner layers of the garment. Under the storm flap there is a zippered pocket designed specifically for storing a mobile phone. The pocket has a hole for the cable from the hands-free kit and dedicated loops designed to control the position of the cable and keep it in the right position. The left sleeve, at shoulder height, has a waterproof pocket for writing instruments such as pens, pencils or markers. The outer pockets located in the lower part of the jacket and on the chest are fastened with a zipper, which minimizes the risk of uncontrolled emptying of their contents and catching on protruding elements of the structure. The jacket has a dedicated key ring, so they are always easily accessible.

The jacket provides protection for the neck and head. The product has a detachable hood with elastic adjustment, allowing for optimal adjustment to the shape of the head. Neck protection is ensured by a high outer collar that provides a barrier against wind and driving rain. The jacket also provides protection for the lower back. The material at the bottom of the garment can be lengthened by undoing the buttons, giving you extra protection against bad weather. The ergonomic shape of the sleeves ensures great freedom of movement, and the cuffs at the wrists increase the fit of the sleeves and keep the cold outside. In addition, the cuffs have CORDURA® inserts that increase durability and extend the life of the product.

The material used for the production of the Outer Shell Jacket from the MASCOT® SAFE SUPREME series is marked with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate, which confirms that it is free of harmful chemicals and dyes. The certification process requires meeting strict criteria - stricter than those specified in the law. All materials included in the product are tested, not only textiles, but also prints, accessories, zippers and filling materials.
